Hillel at UWO held many incredible programs from November 3rd- November 10th for Holocaust Education Week. Events included video presentations, prominent and interesting speakers, Survivor stories, a session called ” 11 hours for 11 million” in which students read the names those who died in the holocaust for 11 consecutive hours, and a closing ceremony with a children’s choir, and a speech from USC President Emily Rowe. These events provided awareness and education to the university’s student body. Hillel partnered with affiliate UWO College “Kings” for a number of Holocaust Education Week events, holding one of the event on that campus. Other vital Partners were “Stand”, and “Pride western”
