On Nov 9th, The JSA co sponsored “Got Swabbed” in conjunction with AEPI, Multicultural Youth Canada and Youth Donors of Canada, a group on campus who focus on volunteering for the Canadian Blood Services. The purpose of which was OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow Network. A family from Toronto who are desperately trying to find a bone marrow match for their daughter, was also present to encourage volunteers. In the span of a day the groups collected swabs from over 760 people. The event was headedr religious and cultural chair Dustin Shulman.
